How do I change the font for my copyright footer?
-
Some time ago I succeeded in adding a copyright line to my blog’s footer using a text widget and “position absolute.” Yesterday I did a total “font makeover” but can’t figure out how to spec the font change for the copyright line. The WordPress credit line dutifully changed but my copyright line did not. I have the CSS upgrade. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Add this:
#text-165762484 {
font-size:blablabla;
font-family:blablabla;
font-weight:blablabla;
etc…
}Adjust the size, type, font color, etc. according to your taste.

Thanks, duto. It’s late and I must be overlooking something. That code is obviously affecting the font size, but the font is not changing to match what I spec. Maybe I’ve screwed up the punctuation or something. I’ll work on it some more tomorrow.

Finally figured it out. I’d specked the font in the widget itself. Once I changed that, it worked.
