    Hello,
I am looking to change the font in a “text” widget that I have set up in my main widget area on my blog allthatglittersblog.co
It essentially is just a blurb about me, but I wanted to change the font to differentiate it from the rest of the page.

    How would i do this?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sure thing! Try pasting something like this in your text widget:

    <div style=”font-family: ‘times’;”>My text</div>

You can replace times with the name of your font.

This little piece of HTML should help you do just what you want!

I tried copy and pasting <div style=”font-family: ‘times’;”>My text</div> both at the top as well as the bottom (separate times) within my “main widget text widget”

When I click save and view my blog page, <div style=”font-family: ‘times’;”>My text</div> translates into “My Text” …. the font is not changed and nothing is altered. Is there a different place I would include this instead? Or a different way to go about this?

Hmm — it’s working okay for me. Can you try editing the text widget from here?
    https://marissadamato.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

    I added

    <div style="font-family: 'times';">...</div>

You can replace the … of course.
