How do I change the header font size in the css sheet

This is the theme: DePo Masthead by Derek Powazek/Noel Jackson
Please let me know how I can change the header size to make it smaller.

Do you have the CSS upgrade?
If so, try this:
.name {
font-size:12px!important;
}h1 {
font-size:60px!important;
margin:5px!important;
}Just play with the numbers.
“.name” controls the reversed-out copy (“STYLE, DESIGN & MORE”).
“h1” controls the big header (“Roxxn.com”).
rosclarke taught me how to do that.

For font size don’t use pixel units (i.e. 12px), is of bad practice. Instead, is recommended to use em units or percentage.
This table may be of help if you wanna know what’s the em or % equivalent to pixel units.

For accessibility reasons and because pixels are absolute units, which means that if a user is having difficulty reading your text he or she won’t be able to make the font bigger because it’s been defined in pixels. However, if you define your font size using “ems” or “%”, then the reader would be able to zoom in the text making it easier for him/her to read.
Although modern browsers have the ability to make the text bigger, even if the font size is defined by pixel units, there are a LOT of people who still use IE6.

Thanks, devblog, I’m going to experiment with that on my test blog and see what results.
I notice some sample code puts both pixels and em. Is THAT okay?

To me, is not okay. Personally, I don’t “mix” them because I like to be consistent. Also, I wouldn’t recommend such practice.
