How do I change the layout of the site?

Hey, I am looking to change the way the website looks. But it doesn’t look like I am able to adjust anything, nor am I able to see what it is when I am adjusting. I have some mock ups of what I would like the website to look like but it’s a bit frustrating trying to make it look the way I want it to.

The main way to change the way your site looks is by changing the theme. You can try out different themes from the Themes Showcase by clicking on the three dots in the bottom right hand corner of a theme and choosing “Try and Customize” from the resulting pop-over menu.
When you are in the “Try and Actvate” Customizer, clicking the blue “Activate & Publish” button at the top of the sidebar will make that theme and your customizations active on your site.
If you like the way your current theme looks, and just want to change its options, you can open the Customizer and use the options available to style your site.
