How do I change the moving site title bar and height of the header in Axon theme

In Axon theme, the site title bar, which sits over a very large header section, moves up as one scrolls down the page until it fixes at the top of the window. The two problems are:
1) the moving title bar is annoying and I’d like it to be static
2) the header, or background, behind the title bar is too large, taking up nearly half the page – so I’d like to make his less high.I’m using the wide theme layout which I prefer. I am testing this premium theme on my private test blog (http://testcbgluvs.wordpress.com) before importing it to my live blog (www.cbg-loves.com).

Great idea with the test blog :) I found that you opened up a another thread in the actual Axon Support forum here:

The theme authors will most likely provide you a more detailed response regarding your wishes than I can. Please be patient and let me know if you don’t hear back soon.

Hi Grace, thank you for your reply. Yes, I did open a thread after not hearing from WP support. I do hope the theme authors will respond as I am anxious to see if Axon will work for our needs.
I did also go to the theme author’s site for support, however there was no way to post my question without buying the theme, which I’ve already done from WP.

Hi Grace, sorry to bother you, but still no word from the theme authors. Is it possible to get any support on my original two questions?
Additionally, I have purchased the custom upgrade for our live blog (cbg-loves.com) but as you know, can not access the service on the test blog, any suggestions or do I just need to wait until I switch over?

They only way that I can think of to make the sitebar static is to remove the transitions and remove the fixed sitebar at the top with CSS. However, when I did that it didn’t look nice in my opinion. When you scroll down the sitebar disappears. =
Everything just looked a bit off. I wouldn’t recommend that. So, I was hoping that the theme authors might have a better idea.
As for the messing with the theme layout, this can break the layout of mobile and tablet devices. So unfortunately, the best solution would be to talk to the theme authors.
Please be patient. They should get back to you within a couple days.
