How do I change the name attached to my avatar?

  I did read the title, but I didn’t know if you wanted to change your username or your public name.

  “gigisanchez” is your username. Here’s how to change it.

  Ok, thanks. But I have no idea what a public name is. I went to that link and it says:

  “If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.”

  I have no idea what a Display name is but that’s what I keep changing and it’s not changing the name on my avatar. I’m not changing the “user name” b/c it says you can’t ever change it back. Is that true? That seems kind of harsh.

  If you have trouble changing your username (which is “gigisanchez”), contact staff as absurdoldbird suggested.
