How do I change the name of my blog when wordpress thinks the name already exist
-
I need to transfer my blog (www.fishinginsoutheastaustralia.com) to a new address (www.flickandflyjournal.wordpress.com) but wordpress thinks the new site already exists. This is because we had registered it as a new blog. I deleted the new name but the problem still exists.

I’m sorry, but deleted blogs cannot be restored or reused. Deleting a blog is permanent and the name cannot be used again. There are several warnings about this on the Tools -> Delete Site page and in the help pages, and you are required to confirm the deletion by email.
You can start a new blog by logging in to WordPress.com and then going to http://en.wordpress.com/signup/
With any blog, you can also use your custom domain with Domain Mapping upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
If you need help transferring the domain fishinginsoutheastaustralia.com to your new site once you’ve done that, please post back here and we’ll be glad to help you out.
