How do I change the name of one of my pages on my blog?

  I have a page called home and one called about me. I can make changes to the one named about me but I can’t change the name of the home page. I want to change the name of the link for the home page not the title of the page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Currently you are using the default menu so you will not be able to rename Home to something else.

  You will have to create a custom menu to be able to manipulate the menu name and few other things.

  Could you create a custom menu following the instructions in Custom Menu support document and then you will be able to change the menu names as you wish by editing the Navigation Label in the Menu Item Settings.

  Ok, I have my pages and menus set like I want them. The “home” page shows my post from a previous class and I wanted to change the name to the name of the class but they still show up under home even though I made a page called ETEC 524 and I customized them. How do I change that?

  Let’s try these steps and see how it goes:

  1) Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus

  2) Select the menu from the Select a menu to edit: dropdown.

  3) Under the Menu Structure you will see the first item is Home.

  4) You can either remove it or expand the panel by clicking o the down arrow and edit the Navigation Label.

  5) Click Save Menu and see if you got the result you want.

  Let me try a different approach. I have two separate blogs in wordpress. I want to combine them so that the menu shows a link to each class that I had to make a blog in. Can you tell me how to do that?

  You will have to import content from one blog to the other and then configure the menus separately. Importing only gets the content from one blog to the other. Menus have to be configured separately from Appearance > Menus dashboard screen.
