How do I change the personal domain I'm presently using and is paid for until De
-
I’m presently using juliorecalde.com as a domain for my blog hosted on wordpress.com, and I’d like to use another domain, also registered to myself. As far as I understand, I should pay again for the upgrade, since it’s paid until December 17th, 2013.
Would you please reset that setup so I can change my domain ? Or how do I do it myself ?
Thanks !Cheers,

Hi there!
You would just need to purchase another domain mapping upgrade for your new domain.
Then, you can choose which domain you want to be primary by going to Store -> Domains and selecting the primary domain. The other domain will be redirected to the primary domain. Here’s more information about the domain mapping upgrade:

csonnek, thanks for your reply. As far as I understand, I should pay for ANOTHER upgrade, since I don’t intend to use ANOTHE domain with the present one, but INSTEAD of the present one.
Can’t support fix that ?

It isn’t something that we can change. All upgrades are purchased on an annual basis and when it comes to domains (registration and mapping) there’s only a 48-hour refund window. In addition, we are unable to prorate or partially refund any unwanted domain upgrades outside of that 48-hour window.
I hope that clarifies things.
