How do I change the photo that appears automatically?

Back when I created this blog, I used a photo at some point in the process that made the photo show up in two places: at the left of the URL in the web address line at the top of the browser, and automatically attached as a photo to any link that I post to Facebook unless I’m linking to a post that has a Featured Image. This is not the same as my Gravatar, which I have successfully changed.
How can I change that photo? It is out of date and shows my baby who is now almost five!

I think what you are looking to do is change your blavatar. In your wp-admin dashboard go to Settings->General. On the right side of the screen you will see a section for Blog Picture / Icon. You can change it there.
