How do I change the picture shared on Facebook?

The picture shared on Facebook is a picture of a third party button that’s on my sidebar and not that of the site. How do I delete that button or change the picture shared on Facebook?

I’m sorry but when using Publicize, note that we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. You can remove an y widget you installed here > Appearance > Widgets right where you installed it. Click the widget to open it and click “remove” and then “close”.
