How do I change the position of the cart icon on my header
-
The cart is a woocommerce widget that has a dropdown, so I would prefer to not delete and replace it with the WordPress cart because it would lose this functionality. (it can’t be edited from the usual menu in customizer btw)
it is on the right side currently, and I want it on the left, just before “home” (see image)
I messed around with the HTML code in inspect, and I got it to work, but it doesn’t publish to the site, only that browser window. I just drag the inspect line for the cart up a few lines of code until it is above the rest, but this only works in HTML inspect element and I don’t know how to do it in CSS or elsewhere.
TLDR: How do I rearrange the cart icon to the left given I can’t do it from the menu customizer? Thanks in advance

The second image is the desired outcome. (as mentioned, it doesn’t get saved when I edit it with inspect HTML)

Hi there,
It sounds like you need help with the WooCommerce plugin but have landed on the support forum for WordPress.com sites instead.
We don’t offer WooCommerce on WordPress.com (unless you are upgraded to our WordPress.com Business or eCommerce Plan) so we are not your best point of contact, but the good news is that help is available by contacting WooCommerce staff here:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-topic-0
Thanks!
