How do I change the post format? (The theme i'm using is Oulipo.)

  I want to make an aside post, since it’s short and takes up less space, but I can’t find an option to change the post format. Is it just that the theme I’m using (Oulipo) doesn’t provide this option, or do I need to take farther steps?
