How do I change the square icon to the left of my posts on the blogroll?

There is a little (standard)square of blue and white thing that looks remotely like a part of a patchwork quilt to the left of each of my posts on the blogroll. I’m assuming these are stock/ standard and are provided by WordPress…how would I go about customizing this little square and inserting my own image? Thanks in advance!

We need a link to your blog in order to see what you are talking about and to figure out if you are hosted here at wordpress.COM. And consider linking it in your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forum.

I’m talking about the little square that your photo is in in your reply, on mine, you will notice that there is a blue and white “design” this is what I wish to get rid of to post my own image. Thanks

That’s an avatar. You can change it by going to Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile. It will have the option of uploading an image for your own avatar, just follow the prompts.

Also, while you’re there, scroll down to the “website” box and fill in your wordpress.com blog address, which is what vivianpaige was asking for, and what you completely ignored. We usually need your wordpress.com address to help you in the forums.
