  You can change the date format from Settings > General, here’s a guide. The author literally shows the username of the person who authored a particular post – it’s useful if you have lots of contributors on the same site. How would you like this section to appear instead?

  No i think you misunderstood my question I want to change the font to verdana.

  Oops, easy mistake to make if you don’t mention “font” in your question! Your actual issue is really easy to solve, add this to your custom CSS:

  .wf-active .postmetadata {
    font-family:verdana;
  }
