how do i change the theme name

  i am willing to change the custom theme to mine with my name .. what should i do

  The credits at the bottom of the themes here at wordpress.com have to stay as they are. You could add to the existing credits with some CSS (before or after), but you cannot remove the existing and replace with your own.

  When you customize the style of a theme here with CSS, the credits at the bottom will change to say something like this:

  Theme: Customized Liquorice by Nudge Design.

  You an add your name to the footer contents. Here is an example that will work with the Liquorice theme:

  #footer p:after {
  	content: " Example text.";
  }

  On WordPress.com, you would add that to the Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor.
