How do I change the time to my time zone?
-
I know that I set it up by using the UTC thing, but why won’t it run properly?? The whole time and date setting thing doesn’t make any sense! I guess it’s because this site runs in different time zones, but how do I set my blog to my time zone? Please help I’m so confused!

I’m in Eastern Standard time so I set UTC to UTC -5.
so right now the time is:
UTC time is 2008-11-16 3:13:11
UTC -5 is 2008-11-15 22:13:11
It’s a 24 hour clock.
Where are you? -

It’s really pretty simple to figure out. When you adjust the time and save it, the current time then shows underneath. If it matches your clock, then it is correct. If it doesn’t, change it til it does.

If your are in eastern Canada. If you are north of Wisconsin, then you are in Central Standard time now.

With the the poor math skills I’ve encountered in most 30 or younger, it could be impossible unless they had a calculator. And don’t even ask them to do long division.

Yeah, I know what you mean TSP. Guess that’s why they give calculators out for the CPA exam now. When I took it, no calculators were allowed. 2 1/2 days of testing with only a pencil and paper.

I know how to read time like that, it was just confusing because I’m use to setting my time to the actual time zone (Paciic, Eastern, Western etc) so it was more complicated for me because it didn’t say any of the time zone areas next to it.

Sorry, no one was referring to you in particular.
Lots of people get confused by the 24 hour clock.
