How do I change Viewer's roles?

  Viewers on my private blog don’t appear in the list of Users. I want to change their roles to Authors. How do I do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thank you for responding, but unfortunately your response didn’t answer the question I asked.
  But no matter. I’ll simply delete the Viewers and invite them again as Authors.
