How do I change what shows up in a search for my blog?

Somehow, since I am a beginner, I have done something that makes the “About” section of my blog show up in searches instead of the title and first post I wrote. Help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Type “thesimplicityexperiment.wordpress.com/ site:https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ ” into the Google search bar and you’ll see 2 listings for your blog:

    “3 hours ago – thesimplicityexperiment. Member Since: June 19, 2010 (10 hours); Website: http:/ /thesimplicityexperiment.wordpress.com …
    en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/thesimplicityexperiment”
    and
    “1 post – 1 author – Last post: 3 hours ago
Started 6 minutes ago by thesimplicityexperiment; This topic has 1 post; This topic is not a support question; RSS feed for this topic … On WordPress.com …
    en.forums.wordpress.com/…/how-do-i-change-what-shows-up-in-a-search- for-my-blog”

It can take as long as 6 weeks for your blog to appear in Google.
If you have search engines questions they must be directed to Google, Yahoo, or Bing, etc. as appropriate.

You should verify your site with all the major search engines as described here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Even so, it will take more than 10 hours for your blog to appear in searches.

Also, I see the links in your blogroll are all referring to wordpress.ORG information. Are you aware that wordpress.COM is very different from wordpress.ORG?

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
