How do I change written by.

    Hi, I am pulling my hair out can you help. I am using writer theme, and in the written by is wrong how do I change it. I have one story that say’s written by MD and two others that say written by MM…. They all need to be written by MD. How do I correct this.

    Hi Mark!

    This discrepancy is occurring due to your connected Google Plus profile. When you connect your Google Plus profile and associate the profile with a post, the author byline automatically reflects your Google Plus name. If you scroll down to the bottom of your post here, you’ll notice that “Associate my Google+ information with this post” is checked:

    https://markdarcydotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=236&action=edit

    This creates the MM byline. However, if you scroll down to the bottom of this post, you’ll notice the option is unchecked leading to the MD byline:

    https://markdarcydotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=170&action=edit

    If you would like MM to be displayed, you’ll need to either uncheck that option for each post, unlink your Google Plus profile, or change your name on your Google Plus profile.
