How do I close a free account but keep my paid one open?

    I created a free WP account which I no longer want. Meanwhile, I have paid for and started an upgraded account which I want to keep. Can I close the free one ONLY without affecting the paid one?

    Hi there – What are the usernames of the two separate accounts? And which username should be the upgraded account?

    We’ll use that info to try to help verify that it’s safe to close the free account you no longer need.

    Hi,

    For the account I want to keep, the username is sabiaali1208. My website is called mymotherhalf.com

    I have another account, it seems, called sabiaali1208.wordpress.com which I believe is free. I don’t need this account at all.

    I’d be grateful for any help on this.

    Hi sabiaa, I can confirm if you’ll log into the other account and remove it, that will not affect this account at all.

    Log out, log in as the other user, then go to https://wordpress.com/settings — you can remove the site there.
