  G’day,
  There is no way to delete WordPress.com accounts. If you get a wordpress.org install and use Akismet or the wordpress stats and/or comment on wordpress.com blogs you will need it. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  You can delete your blog here, although I typically recommend just setting it to private and letting it sit there. You can never know if at some point in the future you will want to use it.

  Do note, that if you delete it, that is permanent. You will never be able to get that URL back. WordPress.COM does not recycle blog names/URL’s.
