How do I colour single words in a text?

  I would like to highlight single words in a text in a different colour. Why can’t I do that any more in the new editor? And if I can, HOW????

  How do I get to the code bit? And what if I get something wrong? Will that cause problems with the rest of the page/site/etc. Haven’t done any programming since 1992 – and never for websites!
