How do I combine 2 accounts – cuz the inactive one uses my usual email address?

I tried to correct the email address on my profile from my unused Gmail address to my usual igc.org address. WordPress told me that that igc.org address is already in use. I don’t remember having two WordPress accounts. Is there any way to find out what this other account is so I can combine the two accounts?
