How do I combine my posts and a page?

    I have an about page that I would like to make my homepage. How do I make it so that it is the first page to appear when you visit our site, and our posts to appear on this page?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    HI there!

    You can choose your Front Page to be one of the pages you created by adjusting the first option inyour site’s Reading Settings. We have step-by-step for that here:

    If you’d like to include your Posts on that static Page, I’d recommend adding the Display Posts Shortcode to the body of your Page:

    However, that shortcode really isn’t meant to completely replace a Posts page altogether. It has a limit of 100 posts displayed, and does not refresh on your site immediately, only about every hour.

    So you may want to consider having a separate Posts page as well, which is also controlled in that first option of your Reading Settings. But that all depends on how you plan to use your site!
