how do I complain – you have billed me wrongly to the tune of £316
-
Please can someone help me. I have had an account for a number of years (largely unused) which I have paid £15 per year for. On 17th September, WordPress have taken £316.22 from my account. I have not subscribed to anything new. Unfortunately, I have been unable to access my account and cannot find a way to get in contact with you through email or any other means. I am at my wits end. In order to access support I have set up a new accoun (this one da343)t, but still cannot find a way to get to speak or email to someone. It seems to even post on a forum I have to be a member, and the original login on the support site does not recognise by details below:
I logged onto my site: danielhulls.org; and changed my email. But any password resets are not going through.
Help? Please?
Daniel

Well that would be frustrating!
However, the account you are posting from does not have any upgrades associated with it. That probably means that you have another WordPress.com account, or that you were subscribed to an upgrade that applied to a self hosted WordPress site (akismet or vaultpress for example).
A good place to start for the former is here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Due to the private nature of information required for account recovery and the public nature of these forums, we cannot help with account recovery here.
And the best place to start for the latter is here:
Let me know what happens.
