How do I configure a domain registered with AZC.com?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a domain registered with AZC.com and I also have their webcard service in order to utilize the email services. I can’t map my domain to my wordpress blog via the three easy steps because it requires me to update the Name Servers at AZC.com. If I do that, the webcard services are not available. I contacted their support team and figured out that I can map my domain to my wordpress blog (abc.wordpress.com) through the AZC site, which I did. Now, when I try to access my domain, all I get is a continually refreshing webpage. Can someone help me understand how I can get my website resolving?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Unfortunately our servers are set up in such a way that we require that you point your domain towards us using our nameservers. If you use a subdomain, such as blog.locuswines.com, you can use what is called a CNAME record and that will work fine, however that will not work correctly for root level domains (just locuswines.com).

The good news is that you can still point any other DNS that you would like, including your mail (MX) records back towards AZC.com using our DNS system, however you will still need to point your nameservers at us first.

If you choose to go this route, you will need to get the correct MX records from your mail provider at which point we can help you enter them in our DNS interface.
