How do I connect a blog post to a page?

  Can I connect a blog post I have written to a page in my menu?

  I want my post “4 Things I Learnt Teaching My First Writing Workshop” to be under Blog -> Writing Workshops.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Also, is it possible so that on my “Blog” menu I can disply my four sub menus (“Journal,” “Travel: In Search of Home,” “Uke & Lyrics”, and “Writing Workshops”) that alternate in each box the posts within their menu, and work as an additional link to those stories within that category?

  It looks like you’ve already figured out how to accomplish this. The desired sub-menu item is present and the link works.

  Is it possible to make a post appear in the sub page, without being a subpost of the subpage?

  By “sub page,” do you mean a subcategory page? Could you provide an example?

  Also, I’m not sure what you mean by “subpost,” because, as far as I know, WordPress.com posts do not, and can not, have parent-child relationships as pages may.

  The sub-menu items you list here are presently linked to static pages. You can’t post to static pages. You may, however, use category pages to organize posts into separate groups by category. See the Category Pages support page.

  In a custom menu, you may include links to category pages among the menu items — see the Adding Category Pages section of the Custom Menus support page — and you may nest links to the posts within those categories as sub-menu items, as described in the Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus section of the Custom Menus support page.
