Hi there!
You can add pages to your navigation bar, by creating a custom menu.
Instructions to do that can be found here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

I still can’t seem to add pages to my menu items without those pages going to the front page instead of under the appropriate menu heading. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Hey there–
I checked you the menu builder, and opened Menu 2, which you’ve label as the primary menu. Click to open:
https://trishandersoncpa.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=edit&menu=4539This is what that menu looks like now:
https://cloudup.com/c_0pQ60qnwgYou can drag and drop a menu item toward the right to make it a sub-menu item. For instance:
https://cloudup.com/cMeSh7MzvB4You just drag it under its Parent menu item, and drop it where you wish.
Another option is to simply open the item, like so:
https://cloudup.com/c4vln5eTmYWThen, if I click the link, “Under Personal Financial Planning,” it’ll look like this:
https://cloudup.com/cXb4_5HHLkqThen, you must scroll to the bottom of the page and click, Save Menu.
Give one of those methods a try and let me know how it works out. Thanks!

I like my menu setup but I don’t know how to add a page to these menu items? The page always goes to the front.

Hey again,
I think we’re using the same words to describe different things and confusing each other in the process :)
To clear up the confusion….
Please take a screenshot, so I can view the issue as you’re seeing it. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:
Just let me know when there’s something I should look at.
Show me what you are looking at…and then describe in more details what you want to accomplish. If you can use actual menu items and page names (and links to those pages would be awesome), that would be super helpful.
Thanks!

Sorry I do not know how to send a screen shot but if you open trishandersoncpa.com – the main page now shows “tax planning” as the first thing you see. I want my home page to be the first thing you see when you open the sight. “Tax Planning” is successfully a sub-menu to Personal Financial Planning but I don’t want it on top of the “home page”
Thank you! -
Hey,
In case you need it for the future, the link I gave you does have instructions for screenshots:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/Can be handy if you require it!
Ok, you’re actually not having a menu issue, you’re having a problem because you’ve assigned the page “Trish Anderson CPA” AND your blog posts to appear on your home page. To change this, go to the following link:
https://trishandersoncpa.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?
Click Static Front Page.
You’ll see this:
https://cloudup.com/c5P8FRfWHsvIf you change the setting for Posts page to “–Select–” for now, that will do the trick. Make sure to save the change.
If you want to create blog posts in the future, you need to create a new page called “Blog” (or something of the sort), and then, return to this area and make “Blog” your Posts page.
Try that out! :)
