How do I connect categories to pages?

  How do set up pages on my blog so that when I post in a certain category it will also post in the appropriate page? Ex. If I make a post in the poetry category it will also appear in the poetry page as well as the main blog page.

  You don’t add pages, you create a custom menu that will include your post categories. See here:
