How do i connect my domain name and my blog?

  I want my wordpress site to go from getgladmaui.wordpress.com to just getgladmaui.com. I have the domain with godaddy, but i dont understand how to connect them.
  I called godaddy and they suggested I do domain forwarding.
  What are the other options, benifits, draw backs?
  What is 12$ per year?

  Can you please use very simple language with me, I dont understand the tutorials because i dont have a very good computer vocabulary… ;)

  Is there a way I can speak to someone on the phone about it? That would be helpful.

  Domain forwarding is free through GoDaddy, but certain features wouldn’t work correctly, and all of your post links would still be example.wordpress.com rather than example.com

  You also won’t be eligible for WordAds if you ever wanted to make some extra money.
