How do I connect my wordpress.com site with Google Profile?

  How do I connect my wordpress.com site with Google + ?
  I gather from your support pages that you are aware about this issue, but will this be done for me automatically by WordPress, or do I need to do something?
  I would like all my blog posts to be recognised by Google Authorship you see.

  Hi Eurello.

  Thanks very much! I have connected my Google + Profile according to the instructions in the link you’ve given me.

  However, when I try to verify authorship using Google’s Structured Data Tool, it still says ‘No’.

  Yes, the rel=author markup issue has been resolved.

  However, the testing tool now says that email verification has not established authorship

  I have created a domain-based email address via my wordpress>dashboard>domain>manage email and the address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  What am I not doing right here?

  Hi Sudakshina – hmm, I’m not actually familiar with this particular option in Google Webmaster Tool, but I see that you have correctly followed our procedure to verify and connect your site with Google+ and it’s now connected. And your information is appearing below each of your posts.

  Have you tried following the steps under Option 1 here:
  https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1408986?hl=en

  Specifically, this step: “Visit the Authorship page and submit your email address to Google.”
