How do i connect to firefox

  I have managed to get up to ‘create an account’. It asks me for the account name. What is this? and where do i find it?
  The host on the other hand i have inputted ftp. my domain name. wordpress.com. Is the account the same without the ftp?

  I am ok with the log in and the password but when i have completed this window i have files on the left side of the screen but none on the right. How do i get the files on the right?

  I’m guessing you are trying to connect with an FTP client…
  or the FireFTP extension on Firefox?

  We don’t use FTP cleints at wordpress.COM …
  you don’t need them.

  if you are using a self hosted blog with the WordPress. ORG blog building package…. then you want to goto this forum:

  if you are, in fact, having problems editing your wordpress.com blog, please say….

  Thanks for that. Can you please with what I am trying to do. I am new to this.
  1. I wish to increase the width of the columns on some of the pages but not all.
  2.I want to change the back the background and have different backgrounds on different pages.
