I’ve got a problem with my account and can’t find the answer. I don’t want to go publishing the details on a public forum.

Can someone please tell me how I can contact support directly as I don’t see a way of doing so?

    Many thanks,
    Cliff

This is the WordPress.com peer support forum. Here you post your issues and if we Volunteers cannot resolve them then we flag the thread for Staff attention.

If you are unclear about how to use the Suburbia theme then I can help with that.

    Suburbia description notes http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/suburbia/
    live demo site http://suburbiademo.wordpress.com/
Suburbia allows you to upload a custom logo for your site as a Custom Header Image in Appearance → Header.
The custom header image is 155 by 155 (width, height).

The number of posts you set to display here > Settings > Reading determines how many posts will display on the front page of the blog. It’s by setting featured images at least 350 by 248 (width, height) as sticky posts that determines how many posts display side-by-side. Two posts each with featured images results in what you may refer to as two columns.

On the main page, Suburbia doesn’t display regularly inserted images. They only display when a post is viewed on its own page – not on the front page. Only two posts with featured images in them display there side by side.

To have front page image display you need to set a featured image to each post and make each post a sticky post. The size of the featured image does matter. The featured image works best with images at least 350 by 248 (width, height).

    Setting a Featured Image > http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image
    Stcky posts > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts

If you don’t see the Featured Image module on your Add New or Edit Post page, please make sure you’ve selected Featured Image in your Screen Options. http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options

Many thanks for the replies. My issue is not with my theme, blog etc. but is an account issue.

If someone can either contact me privately or flag this for someone at WordPress to contact me (or I contact them), then I’d appreciate it.

I now have four WordPress Blogs. I wish to post the Nav Bar on my newest blog’s Home page for my Web Ring. My edit page on this blog doesn’t feature the “code” option for pasting the needed code. How can I do this?

Your question has nothing to do with the topic of this thread. Please post in a separate new thread so as to keep the forums organized: post with a title related to the question you have. Also post with a few more details, including a live link to the site/ or more links for sites you are asking about.

I am the administrator of my blog. When I receive messages from the donotreply email from wordpress I cannot connect to the links. I get a blank page from google? I am new to blogging. I want to give this user access but the link does not seem to work. For example:
    Howdy,

Want to give them access to view this site? Click on this link: http://snappyswampblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-privacy.php?action=add_

If you don’t want this person to be able to view , simply ignore this email, and they will not receive access to your private site.

    Cheers,

    The WordPress.com Team

Many thanks for flagging this for support. Staff feel free to PM or contact me through the email address associated with my ID.

As for my other question I’m making progress on this at:

    http://www.faqshop.com/wp

Very much a work in progress but the guys at TrueThemes have been awesome in helping me.

I have pasted material from Word into a new post and cannot get my indents to hold in the first sentence of each new paragraph. I’m sure there is a simple solution to this but it eludes me. Thanks.
