How do I control the e-mails sent to non wordpress-user subscribers?
-
I haven’t had any e-mail subscribers, and a friend of mine said she tried to subscribe but did not have any luck? I tried myself with a e-mail address of my own, and found that I had recieved an e-mail, but the e-mail required me to confirm the subscribtion. Is there anyway I can change this so that the subscription does not need confirmation?
After speaking to my friend, she said she didn’t really read the e-mail properly, and assumed she was already subscribed and ready to recieve e-mails.
Thank you!

I don’t know what “did not have any luck ” means. Did she check the spam/junk folder in her email program to make sure the messages weren’t filed there by mistake. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/#what-if-the-emails-arent-getting-through

No there isn’t. As I’m logged in to wordpress.com I cannot see if you have enabled the follow button to appear on the bottom right hand corner of your site for those who do not have wordpress.com accounts so I’m just tacking this on in case you haven’t done that.
