How do I correct display problems w/o clearing cache and cookies?

One of my websites avoicereclaimed.com is not displaying properly. Colors have changed so that text is unreadable. How do I correct this? Cleaning cache and cookies is a problem as Comcast appears to have hijacked Firefox, so that I am unable to access that browser.

Howdy,
The cache will naturally expire if you’re not able to clear it manually. If you’re seeing it on different browsers though, it may not be a caching problem.
In your case, I checked out your site and there was a bit of coloring that was “stuck” incorrectly. Can you check out your site now and verify the colors?

What color would you like the text to be? We can tweak the font color using CSS code.
Would you want this for the main post content, the menu items or both?

If you can get to http://wordpress.com/my-blogs/ there is a tiny image of the original display. Olive green/taupe columns on either side of the dark brown are missing. Text should be as close to white as possible — like the title — for maximum contrast (“readability”). The highlight/select button should be red or maroon.
Anything you can do to move the display in that direction would be deeply appreciated. I will meanwhile be working on my other blog w/ the tools you recommended.

I managed to locate the color combo (red/olive/taupe) I originally used on my website, but still could not get it to display properly. As an alternative, I changed (and simplified) the color scheme, selecting a different combo. Whether it was this action on my part or not, the website now does not display either as the original, the newly selected combo, or the “improved” version you created. I am at a loss both as to why this all occurred and how to fix it. Can I get the newly selected combo? I’m getting kind of dizzy (sigh).

Hi Anna,
I’m asking our Custom team to check out your site specifically since the customizer should not allow color combinations that make the text that hard to read (for accessibility purposes) and definiately not create those situations in the first place.
Regarding your last post about the post not publishing, what happens when you click the Publish button? If it’s ready, would it be okay for me to attempt to publish it?
