How do I correct my domain mapping to be the correct address?
-
On Friday I created a blog titled heavyonthecrem.wordpress.com. I paid the extra 17 dollars for the domain registration and mapping of heavyonthecream.com. When I’m logged in my primary domain is listed as “heavyonthecreamdotcom. WordPress.com” instead of “heavyonthecream.com”
I would like my primary blog to be heavyonthecream.com and I would like all traffic directed/mapped from heavyonthecream.wordpress.com to heavyonthecream.com
As of right now i have made zero posts. Feel free to delete any information that you need to to correct this.
I did post my issue on the forums and they told me to contact staff to help me figure this out
Blog url: http://heavyonthecream.wordpress.com/ -
I have moved http://heavyonthecream.com/ to heavyonthecream.wordpress.com as requested.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Thank you, my blogs now link correctly.
However, in my WordPress site administration I still see two blogs listed instead of one.
Additionally, under “manage my blogs” my primary blog name is still listed as “heavyonthecreamdotcom.wordpress.com”
Shouldn’t my primary blog be listed as “heavyonthecream.com.” Also, why does it appear as though I have two blogs to manage…shouldn’t I just see one blog to manage under my login?
-
One other item to note – I went to upload a picture to my “about me” post and it is automatically saving the picture URL as follows:
For some reason all of the settings on my blog are still using “heavonthecreamdotcom.wordpress”
I need this corrected so that my primary doman is heavyonthecream.com (without “dotcom”spelled out) and so that I’m only seeing ONE blog to edit under my administration.

Basically, the domain name is just mapped on the existing WordPress.com blog URL, so it won’t actually replace the URL is all cases.
Think of heavyonthecream.wordpress.com as a person wearing heavyonthecream.com as a fancy coat.

I understand your analogy. However this does not explain why I have TWO blogs under my wordpress login. I’ve paid for heavyonthecream.com and along with that comes heavyonthecream.wordpress.com. That does not explain why I am still seeing “heavyonthecreamdotcom.wordpress.com (note dotcom is spelled out in the title). When I go to save a picture the URL for the Picture link defaults to using the URL Heavyonthecreamdotcom (again with dot com spelled out).
Two things need to be corrected here:
1) removal of all heavyonthecreamdotcom (note dotcom spelled out) references
2) I should see one blog not two under my wordpress loginI’ve paid for a product that has not been delivered to me correctly. I would like this issue resolved.

You registered http://heavyonthecream.com/ separately, which resulted in the creation of the http://heavyonthecreamdotcom.wordpress.com/ blog.
As requested above, the domain was moved to https://heavyonthecream.wordpress.com/ so heavyonthecreamdotcom.wordpress.com still exists, but without the mapped domain.
If you want to, you can delete it following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
