How do I correct the IO error in uploading a video?

  I have purchased the video upgrade and it shows on my blog. But, when I try to upload a family video, it will give me an IO error. I have tried many things. It has loaded as far as 36%. the video is wmv format. Can you help me with that?

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry to hear you’re encountering this issue. A couple of questions:

  1. Would you be able to copy and paste the error message that you’re receiving?

  2. Can you let me know what browser you’re using?

  3. Have you been able to successfully upload the video, even if it doesn’t function properly, to your Media Library or is it only stopping at 36%?

  Hi,

  It has now successfully installed. We live in China and there are so many filters etc going through the systems at any given time. I guess the connection finally was clear. It did take 6 hours to upload a 223 MB video clip. Is that normal or could it be the fliters and speed of the connection?

  I’m glad you got everything to work! Some of the delay in uploading the video may have to do with your location. At times, IP addresses in China have blocked WordPress blogs.
