How do I correctly set up my MX records?

  I sent an email four days ago on this issue and haven’t heard anything back yet. My hosting company sent me the following MX record, but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried putting MX 10 in front of it, to no avail. Please advise.

  You can find an example of how MX records should appear on this page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/

  You’ll want to make sure you’ve added a period to the end, i.e. MX 10 mail.hover.com.cust.hostedmail.com.
