How do I create a category on the menu that appears on my site

  Hey Nicole,

  In your dashboard, click on Menus button or click this link directly https://wordpress.com/menus/ – there you will have the menu areas – and you ca add any of your categories to the menu.

  Nope, not working. I’m trying to create a category so it appears on the menu when I open the page. I manage to create one but it used the posts from another category. Why can’t we talk it through with anybody from WordPress?????

  Hey Nicole,

  Once you created this new category if you want to have in that category some specified posts, you must go to each post and edit them and make sure are included in this new category you just created – maybe this is the reason why you’re not seeing the expected posts in this new category ?
