How do I create a follow blog button
-
Hello, I’ve been trying to figure out how to add a ‘follow blog’ button to my site but I’m confused by the instructions. I’m always pointed to the same page saying go to ‘My Site’ then ‘Design’ then ‘Customize. ‘ I can’t find this particular chain on my most current website. I’m on the back end of WordPress for my site gutsneedlove.com. I don’t know where to go from there. There is no ‘My Site’ anywhere on the page. I can see it here in this form I’m typing in but somehow my other blog is not connected. When I try it here it takes me to an old blog I don’t write in anymore.
All I want to do is create a button on my current site that will allow readers to subscribe to be notified when I write a new article. How can I do that from the backend of my website in WordPress?

Hi! That particular site uses the free WordPress.org software, so its settings will be somewhat different from a site on our services.
If you want to use WordPress.com features on a WordPress installation with another host, though, we do offer several features and services through Jetpack. You would just install the plugin and connect it to your account here, then several of these features (including visibility on My Site, and our follow widget) will be available to you.
