You will not find any theme here that provides “advertis with us” links in the footer. No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only blogs that can be equipped for ecommerce are those with the $299. per year business upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.

http://en.wordpress.com/tos/Although advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/ there are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.

Removing footer credit links creates the false impression that you crated the theme and that you host your own blog, when that’s clearly not the case at all. Changing the footer text is not allowed, but it’s possible to add your own text to the footer area using CSS if you have purchased the Custom Design upgrade.

Hi theworldwatch – I checked Broadsheet’s documentation and it has only one custom menu location, and it’s not in the footer. If you have any other Broadsheet questions, feel free to ask in its forum:

A few themes do provide a custom menu location in the footer, like Blaskan, but it’s not a feature we specifically track in the theme directory. Would Blaskan do the trick for you?
If you need further help, just let me know.
