How do I create a links?

  I would like to create a link within my post that takes the reader to a separate page with related but separate content. This way they can choose to go to that content but are if they don’t choose to click on the link the flow of reading is not interrupted. For example, the page they go to when they click on the link will have photos of an event. But this page won’t be published elsewhere on my blog or be a separate post or page. How do I do this?
