How do I create a new "category" page?

    I post content to several main pages of my website, using categories (www.vweisfeld.com). I created a new page (“Here’s the Latest”), made it a menu item (so it appears in the header of my site), and added the page title to my list of categories. But when I check this new category in some web posts I want to reassign to the new page, they do not appear there. This system works for several other pages, so I must be missing a step. (Please make suggestions for solutions SIMPLE–thanks!)

    We provide support here only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and no others and that site is not among them.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
