How do I create a portfolio page?

I’m new to WordPress so forgive me if I missed something obvious. I just can’t figure out how to add a portfolio page. Can anybody help?

Not knowing is not a problem but opportunity to learn. Everyone is learning here. Don’t worry you’ll soon get used to WordPress.
I am not a pro but I will try to help you with creating Portfolio Pages.– Go to My Sites > WP Admin Dashboard
– Click on Portfolio
– Click Add new
– Enter title for your portfolio project
– Design your page as you wish
– Click PublishOnce you have created portfolio page, add it in menu.
– Click on Appearance > Customize > Menus
– Select your Main menu
– Click on Add Items
– Select the Projects
– Select the Portfolio page
– Click Add to Menu
– Click Save&PublishThis will add your portfolio page to menu options to help users navigate to that page.

krutidugade – thanks for trying to help! Most folks on WordPress.com don’t have easy access to WP Admin, so it’s better to give instructions for the standard dashboard.
mollenliving – are you looking to add a portfolio to Dara? That theme doesn’t support portfolio projects by default, so you’ll first need to activate the feature. Go to My Sites > Settings > Writing, and turn on the toggle next to “Portfolio Projects.” Looks like you’ve already done this step.
After you do that, you can go to My Sites > Portfolio Projects and start adding your projects, which I see you’ve also started to do.
You can now view your automatically generated portfolio archive page at https://mollenliving.wordpress.com/portfolio/ – or you can create a static page and use the portfolio shortcode there.
