how do i create a website?

    I want to create a website and I thought (a year ago when I started on this) wordpress was a program that I can create one but it seens like I can only create a blog! I dotn want a blog, I want a real website like this one. http://www.michelepalazziphotographer.com/ and it seems that wordpress cant do that? or I just don’t understand.. if I cant make a website on here, will I be able to cancel my account but keep my domain name?

    Hi there!

    You can absolutely create a website with WordPress.com. You don’t need a blog at all. Sometimes the words (site/blog/website) are used interchangeably here, since you use the same software to attain any of these goals.
