How do I create an FTP passward?

I need to find my FTP passward, my IP address and have a FTP Username created in order to move forward with self-hosting. I need to understand not only how to access my IP address, but how to create an FTP username and passward, if I don’t already have one….. I’m trying to transfer files. Get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks

The truth is I need a FTP address and username to move my files over to Go Daddy.com as my new self-hoster. Could you help me with that?
