How do I create an online portfolio?

    Hey everyone!

    I’ve never used WordPress so I have no idea how to use it to be honest. I wanted to ask whether it’s possible to create a simple free website where there’s only main page with like a gallery of photos (that looks like Cubic theme) and captions for the photos. And when you click on one of them you get redirected to a different website, is that possible?

    What I want to do is create an online portfolio where I can add some of the articles I’ve written, but I want the url linked photos to show my future employer where I was published apart from the content I’ve created.

    Is it possible to create such a simple website that will also look pleasurable? Pleaase help :)
