How do I create link on page to directs user's browser to another website?
-
I want to put links to other websites on a page. Instead of directing the user’s browser to those pages however, WordPress looks for those pages inside my own blog and then returns an error message.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are two approaches for displaying a list of sites your regularly visit and wish to recommend to your readers. The most common way is to create a Blogroll and display it in the sidebar of your blog. The second approach is to display such a list on a Links page.

Dear Timethief,
Many thanks! As luck would have it, after posting the question,I actually found the answer to my question. My blog was hunting for the links inside the blog instead of on outside webpages because I inadvertently erased the http:// (not sure that’s spelled right) prefix when I created the links in my static link page. But I am new at this and had no idea what the heck a blogroll is. It was as frustrating as confusing to try to find the correct instructions without spending a lot of time learning all the lingo. Just the word, “blogroll” sounded daunting. Your helpful comments and links answered that question for me! It’s all very clear now. Thanks again! -
PS Timethief, I think TimethiefSlayer would be a more descriptive user name for you. Thanks again.
