Mature sites are completely welcome on WordPress.com. We do ask that anyone with a blog that deals with mature content self report the mature status of their site. We also require that your username not link to a mature site when displayed in the forums.
I’ve tagged your site as mature. So you’re aware, mature site do have some additional restrictions here on WordPress.com. You can see them here:
As for increasing followers and traffic to your site, we have a couple of suggestions for that here:
The best way to increase readership is by advertising your site within communities who would be interested in your content and to update your site with quality content consistently.

if I were to remove certain explicit pics on the blog… it need not be under the MATURE label?

As the blog existed when I saw it, it was entirely built around adult themes, so it would still stay Mature. I understand you’re changing the URL. If you also change the contents, it might be up for reconsideration re: Mature. They un-Mature blogs all the time.

raincoaster is basically correct here. The overall content of your site is mature in nature, so removing images would not cause us to remove the mature tag.
You’re of course welcome to create additional sites if you want to have a site that does not cover mature topics. If you do this, make sure the address you use is also family friendly.
